Mehdi Aghagolzadeh received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering
from University of Tabriz, Tabriz, Iran in 2003, and his M.Sc. degree
in Electrical Engineering (Signal Processing & Communication) from
University of Tehran, Tehran, Iran in 2006. He is currently a Research
Assistant working towards his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and
Computer Engineering, Michigan State University. He joined the Ph.D.
program Fall 2007. His research focuses on implementing hardware
friendly spike sorting algorithms and utilizing system identification
techniques to understand neural decoding.
