Ali Mohebi
Ali finished high school back in 2002 and got his diploma from Nikan institute. He joined Electrical Engineering department of Sharif University of Technology in 2002 where he got his B.Sc. in Control engineering. He worked on chaotic modeling of heart electrical activity as his B.Sc. project under supervision of Dr.Jahed. Later on he joined University of Tehran to continue his studies in Biomedical Engineering. He had the chance to be take his M.Sc. thesis undersupervision of Prof. Soltanian-Zadeh. The thesis was entitled "Extraction of left ventricular torsion and ejection fraction using tagged MR images". He finished the electrical engineering M.Sc. program in June 2009. He has joined Michigan State Univeristy in Aug, 2009 to continue his study toward a PhD degree. He is now a member of NSEL and is working under supervision of Dr. Karim Oweiss.
Ali is interested mostly in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience. He tries to be a small part of the scientific society who tries to understand how brain works. He uses his abilities and studies in Signal Processing, Pattern Recognition, Stochastic Signals and Systems, Computational Neuroscience etc to do his role in this movement.
